Can I bring my dog to the Race?
For the safety of our participants, pets are discouraged from participating in this event. Thank you for your cooperation.
Can I bring my Bike/Roller Blades to the event?
For the safety of our participants Bikes/Inline Skates are discouraged from being a part of this event. Thank you for your cooperation.
Where can I register?
You can register online today!
You can register at the Mall at Steamtown on Wednesday September 7th from 10am-8pm; Thursday September 8th from 10am-8pm and Friday, September 9th from 10am-1pm.
You can register at Old Navy, Wilkes-Barre on Thursday, September 8th from 10am-8:30pm.
You can register the morning of the Race at our Registration Tent from 6:00am-7:45am.
Where do I pick up my Race T-Shirt?
Lackawanna County: The Mall at Steamtown- Wednesday, September 7th from 10am-8pm; Thursday, September 8th from 10am-8pm & Friday September 9th from 10am-12pm.
Luzerne County: Old Navy, Wilkes-Barre-Thursday, September 8th from 10am-8:30pm
Is there a Rain Date for the Race?
The Race will occur Rain or Shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that, there will be no refunds, rather your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen NEPA Race for the Cure®
In the Pink (Race Entry, Race T-shirt & Gift Item): $50.00
Online Race Entry Fee : $30.00 (Receive a $5.00 discount when you register online)

What is Sleep In for the Cure?
Can’t make it to the Race? Would you rather sleep in on Saturday morning? If you’ll be out of town on Race day, have a night job, need your beauty sleep, or just don’t want to drive to Scranton, then you can snooze your way to fi nding a cure by registering to Sleep In for the Cure®! When you register to Sleep In for the Cure®, you’ll receive a Race t-shirt and a special Sleep In gift.
How do I form a Team?
Teams must consist of 10 or more participants. To register your Team online, Please visit our Team section of the website. For more questions, please contact our Team Chair, Allison Mendola at amendola@komennepa.org
Are there special rates at local hotels the weekend of the Race?
The Hilton Hotel, 100 Adams Avenue, has a block of rooms set aside for Race participants on both Friday, September 9th and Saturday, September 10th. The rate is $109.00/night.
How can I take part in the Survivor Breakfast?
If you would like to be recognized as a survivor the morning of the Race, please indicate that you are a survivor in the top right corner of your Race Registration.
